Anne Duncan Cooley

Anne Duncan Cooley has been the Executive Director of the Upper Valley Housing Coalition Since 2004. The UVHC is a nonprofit advocacy organization that promotes workforce housing in the Upper Valley. Anne is also on the board of Twin Pines Housing Trust, a nonprofit developer and manager of affordable housing. She serves on the steering committees of the NH Workforce Housing Council and the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition, and is a Director of the New Hampshire Homebuilders Public Policy Alliance for Housing. Anne is a longtime Director and Board Chair of the Upper Valley United Way, and recently joined the Board of the Upper Valley Humane Society.

A graduate of Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, Anne began her career as a lawyer after graduating from Vermont Law School with honors in 1989, and serving as Trial Court Law Clerk in Bennington County, Vermont. In 1990 she joined the law firm of Stebbins, Bradley, Harvey and Miller in Hanover, New Hampshire, practicing in both NH and VT. Anne was also a founder and member of the Upper Valley Women Lawyers, a network organization for mentoring female attorneys.
